A Christmas Single From Recreation.

The first Christmas with Recreation is to be celebrated with a special download of 'Lost Christmas' from the fifth and final My Computer album 'No Computer' due to be released early next year. The song will be available for download from the 7th December exclusively from this site.

In 2010 we are going to be getting physical with our customers. All albums available for download from RecreationRecords.com will also be available on compact disk.

Video footage of Andrew Chester playing acoustic tracks from Good Neighbour's album 'There Was A Time' is available on Recreation Records. The footage is taken in Manchester round at Steve's house, a friend of Andrew. [Video]

Tuesday 29/9/9 - RecreationRecords.com is delighted to announce a new signing to our Web Label, The Witches. We have received their debut album and this will be available for download next month.

He might be best known for his work with the likes of the Stone Roses, Radiohead and Muse, but John Leckie is one of our most prolific and wide-ranging producers. Here, he looks back at some of the lesser known records that he's works on, and picks out his favourite ten. More recently. Leckie has been working on a project called India Soundpad, designed to encourage musical collaboration and connections between the subcontinent and UK. No CV by My Computer (Gut 2004)

Recorded in a basement under Dave's flat in Urmston, Manchester over a year. Chesey, who could be the best singer in UK when he's on it, plays the songs on acoustic and Dave spends weeks messing and mashing - he's the most ingenious mathematician on the planet. He's currently working on Opus 4th Movement while Chesey continues as No Computer. Please check out and be amazed.

September 8th 2009 - My Computer is delighted to announce that their first two critically acclaimed albums VULNERABILIA and NO CV are to be reissued. For everyone who missed these masterpieces the first time round they will have a second chance on RecreationRecords.com later this month.
